Location
Auditorium with a capacity of one hundred and thirty people.
Challenge
To make the auditorium multifunctional and user friendly for various different users. With a hall that can be used for either business or leisure purposes. And where an image of the speakers is automatically displayed.
Solution
Meeting – chairmen and participants have a conference post built into the conference table. Three motorised cameras display images of the speakers at the active microphones - up to two speakers at a time. The chairmen have a reminder screen for their conference table. The chairman’s table has four PC connections. It is also equipped with a DVD and multi CD player and a TV tuner.
Speakers – VCS installed ceiling loudspeakers, combined with two frontal speakers next to the projection screen and two subwoofers. External speakers have three wireless microphones. There are also two goose neck microphones on the lectern. An audio processor ensures that all microphones can be used at once without any interference.
Translating and interpreting – Three interpreter’s cabins enable simultaneous translation. Each cabin is equipped with two screens: One shows the speaker, the other the presentation.
Cinema theatre – A second projector enables the auditorium to serve as a cinema as well. Both projectors are built into the back wall.
Operation – A wireless touch panel operates all the equipment and lighting. The operator can even evoke various ambiences. Several devices can be operated with a single gesture. The screen is clearly organised and highly user friendly.
Aesthetics – All hardware is centralised in a technical rack. This is out of sight, in a separate area behind the projection screen.
